Hesed began in 2017 and was one of the first ministries under MAP's umbrella. We exist to provide support and encouragement for those in ministry. We mirror our parent organization in identifying needs and filling in gaps as they exist. Our roles have included hosting send-offs and welcomes for short term ministry trips. communicating with teams on the field and managing prayer teams, loaning skirts to ladies visiting countries where long skirts are appropriate clothing (we call this the sisterhood of the traveling skirt), planning and providing a Christmas party for MAP partners, and traveling to Vietnam to meet and encourage those providing humanitarian aid there. 

Hesed will continue to meet the needs of those who serve. National and international travel are finally possible again, and Hesed wants to be there for those who need us. In the past few months,we have provided a space for ministries to "test the waters" so to speak. Individuals can host teams and trips under the Hesed banner while they are defining their own ministry goals.
