Dear Reader,
First of all, I want to thank you for taking the time to come to this page and read a little bit about me. I’m sure like many of us, you are an incredibly busy individual and I am grateful you have taken time out of your day to learn more about who I am, my calling and vision given to me by the Lord, and how you can be an integral part of what God is doing in and through the ministry He has allowed me to take part in alongside Him. I am a recent hire for a parachurch organization known as Ministry Advocacy Partners (or MAP) Global. MAP Global’s main goal is to aid and support our partners and affiliates in fulfilling the call to ministry the Lord has given them. Just like Aaron and Hur in Exodus 17, we come alongside our partners and uphold them while they do the work of God.
Within this great work of God, I am honored with the privilege of serving as MAP’s Director of Ministry Development. In a nutshell, this means I come alongside our partners and serve as a bridge between them and MAP in finding effective ways to further bless and strengthen their ministries by taking feedback from partners to our staff and collaborating on efforts, which can include fundraising, spotlighting their ministry on social media, admin task, etc. My position also allows me to offer our team and partners pastoral guidance, encouragement, and support where needed so that relationships are strengthened and our eyes are fixed on Jesus as we go about the work we are all partnering in with Him. Another main aspect of my position at MAP involves pursuing other potential partners and affiliates who MAP Global may be blessing to. Such a task is mainly performed through being an overall ambassador of MAP, spotting potential partners who we can aid in ministry efforts, and seeking to connect with established churches and parachurch organizations to develop relationships where MAP can either collaborate or be a visible and trusted resource said organizations can share.
Currently I am working part-time, but I would love to and believe I am being led by the Lord to devote myself full-time to this great calling, but in order to do this I would need your help. Just as the Lord Jesus called His disciples to go out and rely solely on the Father’s provision through others (Luke 10:1-8), so He has called me to step out in faith to gain donor support for the role He has given me. This isn’t just a ministry calling, it’s part of a bigger step for our family as well. My wife and I have been married for 5 years, and I’ve had the joy of becoming a stepdad to her amazing 16-year-old daughter. She’s an incredible young woman and has brought so much light into our lives. I also feel that Christ is leading her into a closer relationship with Him, being a shining example to her friends, peers, and her family as well. Now, we’re praying and believing that God is leading us into a new season, one where we’re hoping to expand our family and continue building a Christ-centered home full of love, faith, and purpose. Stepping into full-time ministry while also preparing to grow our family is a leap of faith—but it’s one we’re ready to take, trusting that the Lord will provide as He always has.
A few ways you can bless me in this great endeavor is by praying. Pray that God would open doors and stir hearts to provide the finances to cover the costs needed to keep MAP running as well as resources needed to bring me on full-time. Another way would be to consider partnering with me in being a monthly donor so that I am able to have the funds to come on full-time so that I may devote all that I am to perform the ministry work the Lord Jesus has called me to. When you donate monthly to me, you also have a higher chance of keeping MAP and I in your prayers when you see the amount you have blessed me with being drawn out of your account. Lastly, if you cannot commit to a monthly offering, I ask that you would prayerfully consider providing a larger annual donation. In all instances, I ask that you take time to intentionally pray what God is asking you to give so that you are blessed, we at MAP are blessed, and in all things, God is glorified.
