Benoit, of French origin, and Marci, who have four boys and a daughter-in-law (Marc, Paul, Julien, Jadyn, and Alexandre), have been serving in international work for over 26 years. They both speak four languages—English, French, Moroccan Arabic, and Spanish.

From 1999-2002, Benoit and Marci led an international church in Paris, France.

Starting in 2003, they served in a Creative-Access Country (CAC) in North Africa for seven years through a BAM (Business as Mission) model. Benoit also served for several years on the board of an international school.

In 2011, they transitioned back to France to spearhead an outreach initiative among the diaspora and to begin a community cultural center called Oasis of Cultures which is thriving to this day. Marci also served as the global coordinator for orality and storytelling for an international organization and is passionate about telling stories and training others.

In 2019, Benoit and Marci moved back to southern Europe to launch another pioneer work focused on immigrants and refugees. They created a non-profit organization called Tierra Majrit (translated “The Land of Abundant Waters"). Through this organization, they opened a community cultural center with outreach to North Africans and began a faith community among Iranian refugees. Benoit also served on the Board of Directors of an international school (LIFE International School). Marci began her anti-trafficking work, partnering with safe houses to rescue and care for North African women trapped in human and sex trafficking. Marci is also a writer and has published 14 books (children’s picture books, memoirs, and creative non-fiction and poetry).

Your tax-deductible donations will support Benoit and Marci in their living expenses—rent, utilities, vehicle, phone, education for their son—and work expenses (anti-trafficking, LIFE International School, the Iranian faith community, cultural community center).
